Is she great or what?  You've got to hand it to John McCain.  He builds suspense for naming a VP on Friday night of the Democratic Convention - the night of Barack Obama's ascension to Olympus.  Then the following day, he nominates a tough maverick woman governor from Alaska.  That announcement totally stole the spotlight from Obama.  The leftist media totally left their man out in the cold and went after Palin's daughter's dates, her husband's drinking night 22 years ago, and her sister in law's abusive husband.

In baseball, that's called throwing it high and inside for a strike.

Is Obama dead in the water now?  If he doesn't grab the spotlight back from Palin, he is.
